1 source-checked listing. This is not a count of every specialist in New Mexico.

What our New Mexico sources show

Counts come only from the public pages we checked. "Not stated" never means "not offered", and nothing here is office or license confirmation.

Source checked 2026-10-21. Office confirmation pending.

Call to confirm the service is done at the location you plan to visit, and who performs it.
Ask whether the visit is billed to medical or vision coverage, and for written estimates on lens fitting or cross-linking.
Ask your current eye doctor for a referral and to send your corneal maps.

Independent organizations with their own criteria. We don't control or verify their lists, and inclusion there is not a KeratoconusRegistry listing.

NKCF's own referral service. Their criteria and review are theirs, not ours.
American Optometric Association: Find a doctor(opens in a new tab)
A general optometrist locator. It does not indicate keratoconus experience; ask each office.
Scleral Lens Education Society: For patients(opens in a new tab)
Patient information about scleral lenses, including how to look for a fitter.

Your own eye doctor can also refer you to a cornea or specialty lens practice.
