For providers

For providers

How listings work for eye care offices, and how to request or correct one. No fees and no paid verification.

Who can be listed

Optometry and ophthalmology practices, academic eye centers and hospital programs that evaluate, monitor or treat keratoconus. We treat optometry and ophthalmology neutrally: a listing describes services, not which profession is better.

What we need to list a service

Every fact we publish must be shown on an official public page, such as your practice website or your institution's program page. For each service we record the page link and the date we checked it.

  • Keratoconus evaluation and monitoring
  • Specialty or scleral lens fitting
  • Corneal cross-linking, performed at this location
  • Corneal cross-linking by referral to another practice

Office vs. program listings

If a page for a specific office location names the service, we list it for that location. If only a department or program page names it, we show "Program lists it; location to confirm" and keep it separate in search, so patients know to ask where the visit happens.

If no public page mentions a service, we show "Not stated on source". That means unknown, never "not offered".

What a listing does not mean

"Source checked" means we saw it on your public page on that date. It is not a license or credential check, office confirmation, or an endorsement. When an office confirms details directly, the listing says which fields were confirmed and when.

Listing is free

There is no fee to be listed, corrected or confirmed, and there is no paid verification. Sponsorship, if offered, is separate and labeled, and never changes a listing's evidence or search order.

There is no provider account or portal. Requests and corrections are handled by email.

Request a listing or update

Send your practice details and the official public page for each service. We review the pages before publishing, and we may contact the office to confirm.

These buttons open a draft in your own email app (or copy it). This site does not send or store the message. You can also write to help@keratoconusregistry.com.

Confirm or correct your current listing

Listings are source-checked from your public pages; no office has confirmed one yet. To confirm yours, send an email from your practice that includes:

  • The current listing page link (open your listing and copy the address from your browser).
  • Your name and your role at the office.
  • Each exact field you are confirming or correcting: street address and ZIP, phone, and for each service whether it is performed at this address, by referral, or not offered.
  • An official public page that shows any change.

This opens a draft in your email app; nothing is sent from this site. We review every request by hand and may call the office's public number. A listing is never marked confirmed automatically, and confirmation is not a credential check or endorsement.

Corrections

Each listing page has a "Report a correction" button that prefills the listing's name and link. You can also send a correction from Contact. Please never include patient information. Interested in supporting the site? See Sponsorship.
